Dating Information: Dated (incompletely) using the Desiderius & Indiction dating systems as being between 1 March 770 & 11 November 772.

Dating Notes: Both the indication of the month and of the year of rule of king Desiderius were left blank by the copyist. A quite sure "terminus post quem" is offered by the mention of Probatus, recorded for the first time as abbot of Farfa on March 770. Besides, much probably this diploma was issued before 11 November 772, considering that the monastery of "Sextunum", here appearing yet to be founded, will be "ad fundamentis constructum" in the following privilege granted by Adelchis to San Salvatore (CDL 3:44).
